WWDC Wireless Wall Damper Control

The WWDC is a wireless wall control that works with a modulating zone damper to adjust the amount of heating or cooling airflow to a space that is overheated or overcooled to improve comfort, or to reduce heating or cooling airflow to an unoccupied space to save energy. Airflow to the space can be adjusted in 10% increments from 100% to 0% airflow for optimum comfort and energy savings.

FEATURES

  • Simple installation - No new wiring in the home.
  • Wall control is battery powered and has 100' wireless range.
  • Very simple operation - Just turn the knob to adjust airflow to the space.
  • Multiple dampers can be used to define the space.
  • A 24VAC, 40VA transformer powers up to 6 dampers.
  • Compatible with R80DWL Round Unsealed Damper or R80DWLS Round Sealed Damper. The unsealed damper allows some air leakage when the damper is closed and is adequate for most installations. The sealed damper has minimal air leakage.
  • 5 Year Warranty.

INSTALLATION OVERVIEW

Install the R80DWL Damper in the trunk line supplying airflow to the space. Wire the damper to a separate 24VAC, 40VA transformer (plug in type ok) using 2-conductor, 18 or 20 gage thermostat cable for power.  Install the WWDC Control on a wall using the hardware provided.  Power the damper and activate the batteries in the MWC - You're ready to control airflow to the space.
