Fresh Air Ventilation Control for Multi-Family Housing
Meets ASHRAE 62.2 Ventilation Requirements.
Prioritizes fresh air operation during HVAC fan calls for energy efficient operation.
Adjustable High and Low Outdoor Temperature Limits. Inhibits fresh air operation when the outdoor temperature is below or above the limits set.
Adjustable High Outdoor Humidity Limit. Inhibits fresh air operation when the outdoor humidity is above the limit set.
LEDs indicate the status of the thermostat W, Y and G terminals, the G output and the damper status. An LED also indicates if any of the preset temperature or RH limits have been exceeded.
Optional Boost Fan Operation. Includes a relay for controlling an optional boost fan 24VAC relay.
Power Switch for turning the FAC1 On or Off.
Description
The FAC1 is a smart fresh air control designed to meet ASHRAE 62.2 ventilation requirements at a cost effective price. Fresh air minutes per hour, temperature limits and relative humidity (RH) limits are easily set using onboard potentiometers.
The FAC1 prioritizes delivering the required fresh air during heating, cooling and fan calls. If the required ventilation time is not achieved during these calls, the control will automatically open the fresh air damper and activate the HVAC fan and/or a dedicated boost fan to ensure compliance.
Easy Installation
The fresh air damper easily connects to the FAC1 control
using the provided plug&play cable.
The combination RH and Temperature sensor is installed in the intake end of the damper so it can sense outdoor RH and temperature without operating the fan. The sensor connects to the FAC1 control using the provided plug&play cable.
Easy wiring using screwless, push-in terminals.
